About Spruce Creek Fish Farm
When you are calling around for prices, please remember that "cheap" fry and fingerlings can be very expensive if they don't survive. We can't protect you from your own mistakes and system problems, but please remember the importance of starting with healthy stock. Fry must be fresh and strong from a hatch properly run in good water. Eggs that have been pushed result in underdeveloped "pre-mies", and eggs that were "heldback" to long result in starving fry, neither of which will survive well. Fingerlings must be "time-tempered" (Where the supplier takes the losses) and then sorted to remove those with stress-related problems, in order for you to minimize the delayed death syndrome. In short ... Know your supplier. Let us help you fish for the future.
